Coca-Cola has been operating in Colombia for more than 70 years and now operates six plants employing 2,000 workers. During that time, the country has seen periods of relative calm and prosperity, as well as turbulence and strife. Despite the volatile environment, Coca-Cola and our bottling partners have maintained operations and worked to provide safe, stable economic opportunities for the people of Colombia.

Unlike employees of many retailers, Coca-Cola system workers in Colombia are not manufacturing product for export. Coca-Cola products – produced by our Colombian bottling partners – are manufactured by and sold to Colombians.

For as long as we’ve been in Colombia, Coca-Cola and our independent bottlers have been engaged at the international, national and community levels to support programs that aid children, promote education, and bring relief to the victims of the country’s ongoing conflict.
